It used to be played nightly on PBS, now only on Saturday, 2 shows...here in Ohio. and w/this analog change, the channel don't come in anymore, even WITH the new box thing.
I too taped the episodes, but they are gone now. I loved to watch them every night.

I think it is so sad that all the great actors that portrayed those great characters have passed away with the exception of Capt Peacock (Frank Thornton) and Mrs Slocumbe (Molly Sugden). I am also upset that I do not get it here in South Kentucky. I have quite a few episodes on tape and enjoy watching them. Just proves that comedy does not need cursing or grabbing body parts to be funny. That show had the best sexual innuendos without saying a word.

I think Molly showed up in a wheelchair.

I know Frank (capt. Peacock) showed up at Wendys funeral, but I don't think Molly (Mrs. Slocombe) made it. Frank was looking pretty good for being as old as he is.
